Buying Titan Bitcoins

As a Titan Bitcoin owner, it’s very important that you’re the only one with access to the coin’s registration email and password.  This protects Titan coin owners from counterfeits and fraud, and you cannot redeem a coin without this information.  Upon receiving a coin that you’ve just purchased, you’ll want to change the registration information immediately.  On the page that displays the coin’s value (viewable by scanning the QR code on the back of the coin), you’ll find a link at the bottom that says, “New Owner Registration”

Click that link and follow the steps.  The site will then prompt you to enter in the new registration info.

When you enter in the new email address that you want the coin to be registered to, make sure that it’s an email address that you have access to.  We’ll send a quick message to you to verify the address.  You’ll need to click a link in that message to confirm your email address in order to finish the registration process.

That’s it!  You’ve just smartly purchased and safely registered your Titan Bitcoin, a beautiful marvel of high-security.

Selling Titan Bitcoins

At some point you may find that the collectible value of your Titan Bitcoins has gone up and you’d like to sell them.  The following guidelines should ensure that the process goes smoothly for you.

1. Allow buyers to see the coin’s back

To make sure your customers understand what you’re selling, you’ll want to make sure they can scan the coin’s QR code, or enter in the coins ID on our verify page.  This not only gives them piece of mind, but also protects you from “less than honest” buyers.  When selling online, a clear picture of the coin’s back will do the job nicely.

2.  Make sure you provide the correct registration info

The new owner of your Titan Bitcoin will need the email address and password that you put in when the coin was registered.  If you’re concerned about privacy because you used an email or password you’d rather not give out, you can change the registration info at any time.  Simple click the “New owner Registration” link at the bottom of the coin’s webpage.

This page will prompt you to enter the current registration info and then allow you to change the email and password associated with your coin.   It a good idea to change the registration info if you have more than one coin that is registered with the same info.

3. Choose your customers

Especially if you’re selling Titan Bitcoins online, it’s a good idea to be cautious about who you are selling to and what methods you accept for payment.  It’s always best to sell to someone you know, but if you can’t do that, make sure that you pay close attention to how your customer communicates and what method of payment they prefer.  Bitcoins are particularly popular among criminals who specialize in stealing credit card information.  Trust your instincts and be extra cautious.

4. Ship to their billing address and use tracking with insurance

The best practice is to mail to the buyer’s billing address or some other verified location.   Paypal provides an approved mailing address in their invoice emails for example.  If a buyer asks you to mail to a different address than is on the credit card or Paypal account, you should politely refuse.  When you do ship, use a service that provides tracking and delivery confirmation.  It’s also best to include insurance when you ship.  It might be tempting to save money and ship without tracking or insurance but, claims that a shipment was “lost in the mail” are more common with high-value collectibles like Titan Bitcoins.  Use protection.
